On Friday May 2nd the STARS team hosted a seminar with the intent of presenting parents and students a scholastic achievement roadmap. The case of presenters included Rahman Khan of GoodWorks Media and host of the Rahman Khan television program broadcast on WTVI. Also addressing our tribe was former STARS student Rashaun Bennett, a standout student at the prestigious Davidson College. The evening’s keynote speaker was NC teacher of the year James Ford who delivered an inspiring address that left all in attendance with actionable strategies and tactics to improve their child’s classroom performance.
