If you are a Charlotte-area parent struggling to find scholastic support for your child, then your search is over. Striving Together Achieving Real Solutions (S.T.A.R.S.) Math and English Academy provides free one-on-one and group academic enrichment sessions to young people in grades 3-10 who are enrolled in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Through these activities, S.T.A.R.S. has been able to improve Math, English and reading skills by at least two grade levels. In just thirteen years, S.T.A.R.S. has grown to serve 230 students through a network of over 30 skilled tutors and seasoned teachers. S.T.A.R.S. is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization.More Information
